    Hotter exhaust gases have a higher speed, contributing to the rapid cleaning of the combustion chamber, thereby increasing the filling, and, consequently, the engine power. By leaving heat in the exhaust, we reduce the temperature of the engine compartment, and the air enters the intake manifold colder, rubber and plastic parts wear out less.
    At first, ceramic coatings were introduced for space, later they began to be used in auto and motorsport, in particular, in Formula 1 cars. To date, you are unlikely to find a rag "thermal tape" in serious projects. The tape looks terrible after a couple of months of operation and under it the corrosion processes accelerate at times so that even well-welded seams crack.
    Internal spraying into the exhaust ducts of the cylinder head and the collector eliminates direct contact of metal and flame, which significantly reduces the temperature of the metal.
