World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King Classic will be getting
WOTLK Gold "fresh beginning" servers when it launches and will let new players start playing without feeling behind by players that are already max level on existing servers.
Blizzard announced the news via a post on the Burning Crusade Classic forums. These fresh servers will come with the arrival of the Wrath of the Lich King pre-patch. It will also let players begin at level one but have access to new ability trees and talents included in Wrath of the Lich King. Fresh start servers weren't an option prior to the game's release to the public in Burning Crusade Classic.
"In the midst of fulfilling requests we've had from players for a long time We expect there to be many new Classic players who will be joining new players for the first-time in Wrath of the Lich King Some of them might be worried about how they'll feel like they're behind," Blizzard's forum post is written. "Fresh start realms should give those players the chance to feel like they're playing on the same level alongside everyone else."
There are a few rules when creating the character on a new start server. For at least one month, gamers will not have the ability to utilize a character boost that can be purchased as well as fresh start servers will not be eligible to receive transfers between servers within the same amount of time. For those who want to play as a Death Knight in Wrath of the Lich King Classic will have to be at level 55 on a character on the fresh start server before creating a Death Knight character on that same server. That won't be a requirement on any other Wrath of the Lich King servers, as players can make one Death Knight on any server without needing a level 55 character.
According to Blizzard it is expected that this Wrath of the Lich King pre-patch can last from two to six weeks. That means those who join fresh servers won't have an excessive amount of time until they reach the maximum level before they can travel to the fresh continent Northrend. If the patch does come out
